Actually it is not hard to play a violin the only thing that is hard is to know the notes well.

When Playing the violin there will also be different positions.

First position is normally where you play.

Second position is where you slide your first finger to the second finger's place in the first position.

Third position where you slide your first finger to the third finger's place in the first position.

You change your position when you have to play notes that are so high or so low that fingers in first position cannot reach or you change to smoothen or make it easy to play.

Mastering the placing of notes will be easy. Why? Because you can do it just by practicing hard enough until you are familiar with the notes.

However, if you want to master the changing of position it will be quite hard.

However "Practice makes Perfect"
